I went to Russia.

My friend wanted to buy something from Russia. We didn't know how to go there, so we found the streets in internet. On Sunday, we went to Russian town. At the beginning, we were afraid because we had to take three subways. After an hour, we arrived to Russian town. People didn't speak good English there, and some people talked with us in Russian. It was funny. At the end, we could buy the stuff that my friend wanted.

    Where was this? Was it Brighton Beach in Brooklyn? It sounds like you had a fun adventure!

    Yeah it is Brighton Beach in Brooklyn. it was fun because they were talking to us in russian and we didn't understand anything.

    My father-in-law grew up in that neighborhood, but it wasn't all Russian back then. New York is a wonderful place to visit what seems like another country right nearby!
